Westminster Stone celebrates 30 years in business!

This week marked the 30th anniversary of Westminster Stone’s incorporation as a trading business.

Both as a team at Westminster Stone, and as The Clifford Family we are immensely proud of our achievements. It hasn’t all been plain sailing, and the past 7 years have been particularly tough!

Paul & Jo Clifford started the business with a clear vision, passion, hard work and a never quit attitude. The vision when starting Westminster Stone was to produce extremely high quality reproduction paving products which look as authentic as real stone but at a fraction of the cost so that old and traditional British properties can keep their character and heritage in the home and garden without it costing the earth. The product range was developed in close collaboration with John Clifford (the current MD, and Paul & Jo’s son).

MD John Clifford joined the Business in 1997 after spending almost 14 years at Town & Country Paving, working with his uncle, Eddie Clifford. John developed a huge portfolio of products that continue to baffle the public and industry leaders by their impeccable accuracy.   John drove the business and product development forward in such a direction that in 2011 The National Trust awarded Westminster Stone the licence to produce a range of products that have taken influence from NT properties around the country.  John's son Tom joined the business in 2008 bringing youthful enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the business.
