We have been working with Alitex for a number of years now, the exceptional quality of their spectacular greenhouses are always a highlight at these events and this year’s Trade Stand has been specially created by designer Jake Curley, a 2017 Gold Medal winner for ‘Young Designer of the Year’ at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
To complement the contemporary design, we chose porcelain flagstones from the Westminster SPA Collection, with a beautiful patina, porcelain is extremely durable, naturally non-slip and completely uniform in colour and texture, which is ideal for seamless modern designs. We chose Ashbourne Beige with a beautiful soft tone which complements brick and stone houses alike.
‘Westminster Stone’s porcelain paving looked fantastic, each individual paver has a mix of buff tones which blend together and add interest, warmth and a contemporary look to my design’ Jake Curley, Garden Designer
For the interior of the Greenhouse, Hidcote Flagstones were used from the National Trust Cotswold Manor range, which have a rich open texture. When used together with the Brick Pavers from the Kitchen Garden range, they provide a natural rustic appearance.
RHS Chelsea promises to be truly amazing this year with fresh & innovative Show Gardens and a wealth of surprises to keep the thousands of visitors amused. A draw to royalty, celebrities and garden enthusiasts, Chelsea is always the highlight of the horticultural calendar.
