Meeting the criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
Goods can only be delivered to your home address. If your application is accepted, the deposit must be paid by credit or debit card.
When you have decided on the product you want you will be able to select the time period you want and deposit you want to pay – We ask for a minimum deposit of 10%
At the end of the checkout you’ll be taken to the third party web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you’ll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there. The whole process takes about 10 minutes and everything is done securely online. You will also know if the application has been successful in a matter of seconds.
If your finance application is accepted and you pay the deposit, your order will come through to Westminster Stone and we will send you the goods.
Please note: we cannot offer a “collect in store” or separate “Delivery Address” option for online finance purchases. Purchases made online using instant finance will be delivered to you via our courier service to the address used on the finance application.
Once your finance application has been approved you will be able to sign the agreement using e-signature. Your documents will then be emailed to you straight away.
Monthly repayments will be taken by direct debit. Your finance agreement starts when you receive your goods. You don’t start repaying your loan until a month after you have received your order.
Applications may not be accepted for a number of reasons, including mis-typed information or not meeting the specified requirements. Please note that other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.
If your application isn’t successful, you can still purchase the item in full via PayPal or with a valid credit or debit card.
If your application is declined, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:
- You do not meet the eligibility criteria;
- Adverse credit reference agency information;
- Your credit score;
- You are considered to be overcommitted financially;
- Your existing account performance with other lenders.
If you wish to appeal the decision made by Hitachi, it’s advised you obtain an up to date copy of your credit report before appealing directly to the third party.
You have 14 days from the receipt of your order to change your mind about the purchase. If you wish to keep the goods but cancel the finance, all you have to do is contact Westminster Stone and pay for the order via an alternative means (i.e. a credit card). Westminster Stone will then cancel your credit agreement.
If you miss a payment you will incur extra charges, your credit record may be affected and you may find it harder to borrow again from us or another lender. We may also take legal action against you and may apply for a charging order over your home.
